The Pink Boots Society is an organization founded to support and encourage women in the beer industry. Founded by Portland's own Teri Fahrendorf who gained great acclaim and fanfare for her time spent as Steelhead's Brewing's Brewmaster and her cross country brewing tour that lead to the formation of PBS. As a supporter of more women in the beer industry The New School is pleased to announce that the Pink Boots Society has finally achieved federal non-profit 501C3 status and has formed their own scholarship program for aspiring women brewers. This Friday 2/15 the PBS celebrates in style with a fundraiser party welcome to guys and gals at Saraveza's Bad Habit Room from 6-10pm.
