Sam Adams brings back the first name in American craft beer: New Albion: I've never had a beer from the country's first microbrewery, New Albion, and I imagine you haven't, either, because the brewery closed its doors in 1982. But now we can, thanks to NA founder Jack McAuliffe and Sam Adams founder Jim Koch, who've brought the beer back to the shelves of America --- using the original yeast that's been cultured since 1977!
