One of the most respected American brewers, I have nothing but good things to say about Mitch Steele. I cannot wait to meet him at some of these incredible events. I will most def be at the Barrel-Aged Beer Seminar and likely the Brewers Social Hour. Collabo beer between Deschutes Brewery and Hopworks Urban Brewery: the result is an India Red Lager, a dry-hopped red lager utilizing Pacific Northwest hop varieties. Two different versions have been brewed with slight differences, one at Hopworks Urban Brewery and one at Deschutes Brewery Portland pub. Both will be on tap and debut the sale of bottles of the Hopworks Urban Brewery version and join Hopworks head brewer Tom Bleigh and reps from Deschutes Brewery for this limited release.
